Seminyak, one of my favourite beachfront resort areas in Bali lies in between Legian and Kerobokan and is like a quieter Kuta.
The beach is swimmable and surfable, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. I consider Seminyak to be the 'European' Kuta - with a lot of ex-pats living here in plush villas, more European fashion styles available in shops and European Clubs on Jl Dhyana Pura as opposed to the loud slosh-pit clubs like the ones that run along Jl Legian in Kuta.
Seminyak, for the purposes of this website starts at Jl Double Six and finishes at Jl Dhyana Pura.
Seminyak offers various accommodation options with beachfront hotels and private villas, some of which can be rented through bali.co.nz.

Seminyak is beautiful! the beach is lovely and clean, the sand is grey but glistens in the sun. It is just a short walk or taxi ride from busy Kuta! Would highly recommend!
