Located not too far south of Candi Dasa, the bay is fairly sheltered from the surrounding ocean. The regular car ferries leave from here and several hours later, will arrive at Lembar Harbour, Lombok.
Combined ferry and bus tickets can be bought at travel agencies around Bali or a ticket for the ferry only can be bought at the time of check in. This is the backpacker's way to Lombok and is not recommended for those who aren't familiar with roughing it.
