Basic hotel for those on a budget that just want a place to crash, but having said that, the hotel is complete in terms of having the touristy basics – the pool, the restaurant and bar and air conditioned guest rooms. The Legian Village is well located near Kuta Beach (about 200 metres away) and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. The property is split into two sections, the street front section is on Jalan Padma and is where all the hotel facilities are located. Just back off the street and only a stones-throw away is the quiet section of Legian Village in a garden environment and is more suited to those that want a bit of serenity in their day.

A Budget hotel that offers clean rooms, friendly staff $1 for a beer and easy walking to some bargain markets, +good restaurants. 5 Minutes to a Tailor who will make A+++++ Clothing of your choice..................... GOOD VALUE

We enjoyed our stay at the Legian Village Hotel so much that within a month of being home we are planning our return next May this time with friends and family.The hotel has all the requirements you need ,the staff are very friendly and helpful and you are treated as a friend rather than a customer .The greatest recomendation of all is that we are returning and bringing others . We loved staying here, we were actually moved over to Joni II's which is just across the road, in the more quieter part, which beautiful surrounding trees, and the sounds of brids in the morning. It ws awesome, great simple rooms, beautiful friendly staff! We have booked our holiday back again and are definately going to stay here!

Just spent a few days there - rooms are basic but comfortable - the hotel is well located amongst bars, retaurants and shopping and a short walk to the beach. Great value for money - what other hotel sells beer for $1 NZ a botle at the bar? Didn't feel insecure after the Oct bombings - but the place was almost deserted. If you want to tour hire your own driver and do what you want - $75 gets you a car and a driver for the full day. I used this guy http://www.balifriend.net/index.html he was great - polite, well mannered, fluent english and really knows his way round. Also an excellent photographer if you look at his web site. He even took me to his family compound to show me how a Balinese family lives.

Have sayed at Legian Village twice now and foind it very good both times friendly staff you can have a laugh with them they're cool. close to my favorite Indonesan resturant great food quick service a meal and beer will set you back around 17,000rph or about $3 nz so good. will stay at legian village again.

We stayed here for 11 nights and loved it. The rooms are basic but meet your needs, they are clean and have all your basic needs. The staff are fantastic and the food is great. The bar staff is great and have great happy hour special and great entertainment. We totally enjoyed our stay at the Legian and would stay there again! Recommended as a cheap place to stay - good for people who'd rather see their money spent on other things.

We stayed at the Legian Vilage two years ago, and managed to get a room in the honeymoon suites which are located just round the corner from the main hotel. The rooms were simple but located in the middle of a beautiful garden with birds and rabbits, your own personal zoo!! It was just lovely. The swimming pool had way too much chlorine, and the pool bar wasnt really in the pool. Overall I think this hotel is ideal if your looking for a bargain.
